When the 'Big Four,' Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, shared a stage together on June 22nd, 2010, in Sofia, Bulgaria, it was the moment their fans had waited for decades. That monumental show was beamed live into over 1000 theaters worldwide via satellite in a special HD cinematic event.

In March of 2010 Megadeth hit the road in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their classic 1990 album, Rust In Peace. The show was filmed on the last night of the tour at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, not far from where Megadeth was formed in 1983. The band played Rust In Peace in its entirety, including all-time classics Holy Wars...The Punishment Due and Hangar 18. The set list also featured several other fan favorites, including Trust, Symphony Of Destruction and Peace Sells.

While Heavy Metal is often accused of being static and conservative, in truth it is a radical form that regularly re-invents itself, and one which attracts generation after generation of musicians willing to learn from the past, but hungry to evolve the future. "A Secret Place" is the eighth song as well as the third and last single of American thrash metal band Megadeth's seventh studio album Cryptic Writings. The song went up to #19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. "I used so many different kinds of guitars on this. I also played an 8 string bass to double some guitar melodies. I used a Jerry Jones sitar-guitar for the main riff. This was the one from our live show that made it to the Woodstock '99 album." Dave Mustaine says that his secret place is inside his head. It is believed that the song is about a person getting lost in his own mind and losing touch with reality.
