Rhett Wilkins

Rhett Wilkins

Born: April 12, 1979
in San Antonio, Texas, USA
For Rhett Wilkins, acting has always been a process of self-discovery. After graduating high school, he enrolled in acting classes on a whim. A few months later, however, he wanted to pursue acting more seriously, and at the urging of his agency he moved to Los Angeles, CA. After working in low budget film and television, Wilkins took a break from acting, moved to New Braunfels, TX, and worked in a plant nursery as a horticulturist. Wilkins eventually returned to acting; he wrote, produced, and starred in his own short film, Tuesday. In 2004, he appeared in the feature film, The Puffy Chair, which premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.

He decides to purchase a 1985 Lazy Boy on eBay, just like the one his dad had when Josh was a kid. He'll drive cross-country for the chair, staying with Emily at his brother's house on the way, and deliver it to his father as a surprise birthday gift.
