The Pool Date is a film about a misunderstanding. System Crash was a television show on YTV about a group of students in a media club telling the events of their fictional school, Lambton High, in the past week. The show was of the sketch comedy genre, with many short segments. Each episode usually had a theme, i.e. parents. Many of the recurring sketches had familiar titles such as Fly on the Wall, Sports Update, Burnbaum Helps, and Lambton Home Shopping.
