Sandy, a young, recovering alcoholic, is forced to make amends with her estranged family after a drunk driving accident leaves her sister paralyzed. But when tensions flare and rifts are further divided, Sandy must confront the buried family secret that tore them apart.

In the North Woods, a dam worker is surrounded by mysterious disappearances of locals and brutal deaths of his co-workers deep down in the reservoir. He tries to get away from the nightmares, only to have his personal demons follow him into the water.

Nick cannot stop obsessing over his ex-girlfriend, Tris, until Tris' friend Norah suddenly shows interest in him at a club. Thus begins an odd night filled with ups and downs as the two keep running into Tris and her new boyfriend while searching for Norah's drunken friend, Caroline, with help from Nick's band mates. As the night winds down, the two have to figure out what they want from each other.

Tony Buba, a film maker from Braddock, Pennsylvania, tells the story of his hometown's decline (along with the rest of the steel mill towns along the Monongahela River) while he dreams of making higher budget films. The picture documents, in a lighthearted way, the community anxiety and activism that accompanied the failure of the steel industry around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
